Roberto Marcos

Chief Revenue Officer, MSc

Roberto is the founder of Grupo Algamar, with over 30 years of experience in the seaweed industry. He has led innovative projects in processing, cultivation, and exportation of Mexican seaweed derivatives, positioning the company as a leader in international markets.

Rúni D Joensen

Chief Technology Officer, M.Eng

Rúni is the CTO and co-founder of Ocean Rainforest, serving as a full-time leadership member since 2023. He holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Aberdeen University and an MBA from Robert Gordon University.

With over two decades of experience in technology development and business leadership across three continents, Rúni brings a wealth of expertise to the team. At Ocean Rainforest, he provides strategic leadership, focusing on the technical aspects of seaweed cultivation, processing, and scaling operations in exposed environments.

Adrianna Kochańska

Business Development Officer

Adrianna is the Business Development Officer, supporting growth and go-to-market strategies across Europe, the US, and Mexico. Adrianna holds an M.Sc. in International Fisheries Management and is a Doctoral Researcher at UiT The Arctic University of Norway.

Adrianna is involved in securing capital funding, supporting the integration of a majority acquisition in Mexico, and preparing market entry for biostimulants in Europe and California. Her focus is on cross-functional coordination, project management, and helping position the company for long-term, international growth.
