We develop seaweed-based biostimulants and crop inputs that promote plant health, soil vitality, and regenerative agriculture. As we expand our reach in Mexico and introduce new products in the U.S., we are seeking a creative and bilingual Marketing Assistant and Content Creator to amplify our mission and engage diverse audiences across North America and Latin America.
Position Summary
The Marketing Assistant and Content Creator will assist in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies to promote Ocean Rainforest’s seaweed-based biostimulant products. This role requires strong knowledge of SoMe platforms, fluency in both Spanish and English, strong graphic design skills, and a passion for sustainability. You will collaborate closely with teams in California, Europe and Ensenada, Mexico, to create compelling content, manage social channels, and support brand growth in both markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement bilingual (Spanish/English) social media campaigns across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.) to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Design visually appealing graphics, infographics, and short videos to communicate product benefits, sustainability stories, and company milestones.
Manage content calendars, schedule posts, and monitor analytics to optimize performance and audience growth.
Collaborate with sales, R&D, and operations teams to create educational and promotional materials for growers, distributors, and partners.
Engage with online communities, respond to inquiries, and foster positive relationships with stakeholders in both the U.S. and Mexico.
Support the planning and promotion of events, webinars, and product launches.
Track social media trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and content development.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related field.
Proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken); native or near-native fluency preferred.
Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools).
Experience creating and editing visual content for social media (images, infographics, short videos).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for diverse audiences.
Knowledge of sustainable agriculture, biostimulants, or environmental topics is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural, international team.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field preferred.
