Seaweed in agriculture

Since 2007, we have specialized in scaling up open ocean seaweed cultivation in the North Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Our seaweed farms absorb nutrients, capture CO₂, and create new habitats that support biodiversity, while ensuring a sustainable and regenerative biomass supply to help reduce and avoid CO₂ emissions.

Today, by expanding our value chain to include seaweed biostimulant processing, we have further strengthened our commitment and ability to address global challenges in both the ocean and on land—extending our impact from Sea to Soil.

Biostimulants for agriculture

Seaweed biostimulants offer a sustainable alternative to synthetic fertilizers, improving soil health, plant growth, and lowering CO2 footprint and freshwater usage in agriculture.

Sustainable

We apply science, innovation and expertise to grow premium seaweed in the pristine and wild North Atlantic Ocean, as well as in the Pacific Ocean.

By cultivating the seaweed instead of taking from wild stocks, we are sustaining the natural balance of our fjords. Our underwater rainforest also takes in Carbon dioxide, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
