Ocean Rainforest Launches New Biostimulant Product in California Made from 100% Cultivated Seaweed
Ocean Rainforest proudly announces the launch of SAKARIBOOST, a seaweed-based plant biostimulants now registered by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and OMRI Listed for use in certified organic farming under the USDA National Organic Program (NOP).
SAKARIBOOST is produced from 100% cultivated Sugar Kelp (Saccharina latissima) sourced in Maine, USA, and the Faroe Islands. Formulated to support nutrient uptake efficiency and resilience to abiotic stress, it offers growers a valuable solution to enhance soil health, reduce reliance on conventional inputs, and utilize a domestic seaweed product.
Ocean Rainforest has developed proprietary seaweed processing methods that preserve the key bioactive compounds in our biostimulants. These natural compounds, such as laminarin, fucoidan, and alginates, are recognized for their powerful and effective plant biostimulant properties, making them ideal options for reducing reliance on traditional fertilizers.
The California launch expands Ocean Rainforest’s portfolio of seaweed-based agricultural inputs available to growers across North America. The company is actively expanding field trials and distribution partnerships with local agronomists, growers, and retailers.
